Lurking under the mighty cities of the Empire are the rank warrens of the Skaven. Uncountable thousands of Ratmen form vast armies that occasionally burst forth from these tunnels to infest the land.

Skaven

As long as he has at least a single Wound remaining, at the beginning of each of his turns, Thanquol can use the amulet to heal himself. On a roll of 5+ Thanquol regains a single Wound.

Warp-amulet

Thanquol's staff allows him to know an additional spell - therefore Thanquol has five spells, not four.

Staff of the Horned One

One use only. Multiple Grey Seers and Warlock Engineers may purchase as many Warpstone Tokens as are allowed within the limit of points they are able to spend on magic items. Warpstone Tokens do not count against the total Arcane Items a model is allowed to bear. A Grey Seer or Warlock Engineer may choose to eat some warpstone to boost its powers. Before casting a spell announce which model is eating Warpstone Tokens. For each token consumed, a Wizard may add a single dice to his casting effect. These dice are added to the normal power dice. A spell may be cast entirely with warpstone. For any of the warpstone generated dice that rolls a one the Wizard suffers a wound with no armour saves allowed. The results of Miscast or Irresistible Force apply as normal.

Thanquol

Infantry

Infantry includes all units of foot troops, be they Men, Elves, Goblin, Orcs, Zombies or any of the other anthropomorphic races that inhabit the Warhammer world. Infantry will normally be the core of your Warhammer army, the troops upon which you rely to get the job done. The basic rules of Warhammer are designed around infantry, so no further rules apply.

Special Character

The Warhammer army books each include the rules for several Special Characters within their pages. They are famous, named war leaders and mighty mages, tales of whose legendary (or nefarious) deeds have travelled far and wide, such as the Emperor Karl Franz, Grom the Paunch of Misty Mountain, the infamous Vampire Lord Vlad von Carstein and many more besides. Special Characters are exceptional individuals but, more importantly for our army selection purposes, they are unique – each can be included in an army only once.
