Dorghar

Far to the North, beyond the frozen desolation of the Troll Country, is the roiling mass of the Chaos Wastes. The twisted servants of the Chaos gods gravitate here, to this place where normal rules do not apply and rivers are made of blood as often as they are of water.

Warriors of Chaos

No armour saves are allowed for Wounds caused by the Slayer of Kings. In addition, Archaon may unleash the power U'zuhl in any Close Combat phase. If he does this, he fights with double his normal number of Attacks (to a maximum of 10) but any rolls To Hit of a 1 will strike either himself or a friendly model in base contact (controlling player's choice). Archaon may not re-roll To Hit results of a 1 when unleashing U'zuhl. Once U'zuhl is unleashed, Archaon must use this special ability in every close combat he is subsequently involved in for the rest of the battle.

The Slayer of Kings

The Armour of Morkar grants Archaon a 3+ armour save. In addition, no attack against him may ever have a better chance To Wound than 3+. Attacks that wound automatically, always wound on a 2+, and so on, will still need a 3+ to wound Archaon.

The Crown of Domination grants Archaon the Terror special rule. In addition, Archaon and any friendly unit within 12" of Archaon may re-roll failed Break tests.

Archaon

Infantry

Infantry includes all units of foot troops, be they Men, Elves, Goblin, Orcs, Zombies or any of the other anthropomorphic races that inhabit the Warhammer world. Infantry will normally be the core of your Warhammer army, the troops upon which you rely to get the job done. The basic rules of Warhammer are designed around infantry, so no further rules apply.

Special Character

The Warhammer army books each include the rules for several Special Characters within their pages. They are famous, named war leaders and mighty mages, tales of whose legendary (or nefarious) deeds have travelled far and wide, such as the Emperor Karl Franz, Grom the Paunch of Misty Mountain, the infamous Vampire Lord Vlad von Carstein and many more besides. Special Characters are exceptional individuals but, more importantly for our army selection purposes, they are unique – each can be included in an army only once.
