This armour grants Thorgrim a 4+ armour save that, when combined with the bonus for his Throne of Power special rule gives Thorgrim a +2 armour save. Furthermore, against attacks with the Killing Blow, Heroic Killing Blow or Multiple Wound special rules, Thorgrim has a 2+ ward save.
