Secure in the almost unknown land of Lustria, the Lizardmen contemplate the meaning of the universe. If any dare to interfere with this divinely decreed duty they destroy them utterly.

Lizardmen

Attacks made with the Cobra Mace have the Always Strikes First and Poisoned Attacks special rules. At the start of every Close Combat phase, all enemy models in base contact with Lord Mazdamundi must reveal their magic items. If Lord Mazdamundi scores one or more hits against a model that has any magic items, roll a D6; on a 6, all of that model’s magic items are immediately destroyed and cannot be used further in this game.

The Sunburst Standard of Hexoatl is a battle standard – if your army includes Lord Mazdamundi, he must be your army's Battle Standard Bearer. This does not prevent Lord Mazdamundi from also being your army's General. In addition, once per game, at the beginning of any enemy Shooting phase, Lord Mazdamundi can release the power of the Sunburst Standard. If he does so, enemy models that target Mazdamundi, or any other friendly unit within 12", with a shooting attack, suffer a -1 To Hit penalty. This effect lasts until the end of the turn.

The Lore of High Magic (Lizardmen) Lore

When generating spells, a Wizard can swap a randomly generated High Magic spell for one of the lore’s two signature spells. Wizards who know two or more spells from the Lore of High Magic can instead swap any two High Magic Spells for both of the lore’s signature spells.

Lord Mazdamundi

Infantry

Infantry includes all units of foot troops, be they Men, Elves, Goblin, Orcs, Zombies or any of the other anthropomorphic races that inhabit the Warhammer world. Infantry will normally be the core of your Warhammer army, the troops upon which you rely to get the job done. The basic rules of Warhammer are designed around infantry, so no further rules apply.

Special Character

The Warhammer army books each include the rules for several Special Characters within their pages. They are famous, named war leaders and mighty mages, tales of whose legendary (or nefarious) deeds have travelled far and wide, such as the Emperor Karl Franz, Grom the Paunch of Misty Mountain, the infamous Vampire Lord Vlad von Carstein and many more besides. Special Characters are exceptional individuals but, more importantly for our army selection purposes, they are unique – each can be included in an army only once.
