Lurking under the mighty cities of the Empire are the rank warrens of the Skaven. Uncountable thousands of Ratmen form vast armies that occasionally burst forth from these tunnels to infest the land.

War Beast

Some armies employ hunting animals, such as hounds or wolves. Whilst not particularly intelligent, such creatures can be formidable foes in close combat, and cover ground at an incredible rate. Charging, Fleeing and Pursuing War beasts have the Swiftstride special rule. Character Mount Some characters can ride war beasts, in which case the model uses the rules for cavalry.
